Overview

Refreshes that don’t stop the day job

Decorating doesn’t have to be a disruption. Our decorating teams work after-hours, in phases, and around live operations to refresh interiors and exteriors without stopping your day. From single-room refreshes through full-floor refurbishments to whole-building external decoration, we plan, prep, paint and protect to a documented finish.

Same WLC standards apply: site supervision, daily progress reporting, and finished-work sign-off. We use trade-grade, low-VOC paints where required, especially in schools and public-sector environments, and we leave each site cleaner than we found it.

Our process

How we deliver a commercial decorating project

Commercial decorating works only if it’s planned around your operating hours and signed off against a clear spec. Every WLC project runs through four documented stages.

1

Site visit & specification

A walk-through to scope rooms, surfaces, substrates and any prep required. Specification, materials and access windows agreed in writing before pricing.

2

Colour, materials & programme

Colour matching, paint specification and material samples agreed with your team. A programme of works built around your occupancy and any school-holiday or out-of-hours constraints.

3

Preparation & painting

Filling, sanding, masking, dust control and primer cycles before the topcoat. Internal work scheduled around occupancy, external work weather-managed and RAMS-led.

4

Snag & sign-off

Walk-round with your team, snag list cleared the same week, and a written sign-off pack including materials data sheets and a six-month touch-up commitment.

FAQs

Commercial decorating, common questions

Can you work around occupied buildings?

Yes. Most of our decorating runs in occupied offices and schools. We work in zones, schedule out-of-hours or weekend slots where needed, and use low-VOC paints and dust-control measures to keep spaces usable.

Do you handle dilapidations and end-of-lease decorating?

Yes. We deliver dilapidations decorating to landlord specification, including making good after partition removal, repainting to schedule and producing a written sign-off pack for the schedule of condition.

Can you decorate schools during half-term?

Yes. School decorating is almost always scheduled around holidays, half-terms and weekends. We mobilise quickly for the short windows and hand back ready for term, with DBS Enhanced operatives where required.

What paint brands do you use?

We work with all the major commercial paint brands (Dulux Trade, Crown Trade, Johnstone’s, Tikkurila and others), specified to the substrate and durability requirement. Brand preferences are accommodated on request.

Do you provide warranty on decorating work?

Yes. Every commercial decorating contract includes a written touch-up commitment for the first six months and product warranties from the paint manufacturer where applicable.
