WLC Group has delivered cleaning and facilities services across the South of England since 1971. Five decades of continuous trading, an ISO 9001 quality management system, and directly employed teams who actually know your building.
Talk to us →WLC Group was founded in 1971 to do one thing properly: clean other people’s buildings to a standard the owners would be happy to put their name to. Five decades on, that’s still the brief, just across more buildings, more services and more sectors than the founders could have imagined.
From a single contract in West Sussex, we’ve grown into a self-delivering cleaning and facilities business serving offices, schools, public sector estates, industrial sites, vehicle showrooms, residential blocks and multi-site portfolios across the South of England. Through every era of office work, every shift in compliance, every change in client expectation, we’ve kept the same operating principles: do the work properly, employ the people directly, write down the standard, and turn up tomorrow.
Today we’re ISO 9001:2015 accredited, headquartered in Crawley, and still privately run with the same long-term mindset our founders started with.
A long-running cleaning business shows up in the numbers, the same way a good building shows up in its condition. Here’s where ours stand.
Most of the things that go wrong with a cleaning contract come down to who’s actually on site. WLC doesn’t use agency staff or sub-contractors. Every operative on a WLC contract is recruited, vetted, inducted and trained in-house, and managed by a regional supervisor and a single named account manager who picks up the phone when it rings.
We self-deliver across every service line, from daily commercial cleaning through to washroom hygiene, floor care, window cleaning, decorating and facilities management. That means one contract, one SLA, one consolidated invoice and one accountable team across your whole portfolio.
It’s the model we’ve always run, because it’s the only one that holds up when something goes wrong at half-six on a Monday morning.
Over the years our service menu has expanded to cover almost everything a building needs to look and feel right. We self-deliver across every line on the list, under one contract and one named account manager.
Daily contract cleaning for offices, corporate HQs and multi-site businesses, scheduled around your operating hours.
Washroom hygiene, sanitary disposal, consumables and dispenser management on a documented frequency.
Cladding and window cleaning using water-fed pole and MEWP-led access on standard commercial buildings.
Strip-and-seal, scrubbing, burnishing and hot-water extraction as a planned maintenance programme.
Touch-point disinfection, electrostatic fogging and commercial decorating for refurbishments and dilapidations.
Managed janitorial supplies and bundled facilities management under one consolidated contract.
Five decades of trading means we’ve learned what each operating environment actually needs, and what doesn’t survive contact with it. We deliver against documented standards in seven sectors across the South.

The boring paperwork matters. Procurement teams, managing agents, framework managers and brand auditors all want to see it before they sign. Ours is ready, every time.
